BARACK OBAMA
In September 2022, Timothy Jacob Jensen’s hometown of Skive, Denmark, had the distinct honor of
welcoming former U.S. President Barack Obama. During his visit, Mayor Peder Christian Kirkegaard selected
four wristwatches from the BY TIMOTHY collection as official gifts for the distinguished guest and his family.
The watches, designed by Timothy in collaboration with his daughter Freja, were gifted to Obama, his wife
Michelle, and their two daughters.
The gesture was both personal and deeply symbolic: Timothy’s mother, Patricia Ryan, was born in New York,
making Obama’s visit a meaningful connection to his American heritage.
